Welcome to Twisted Grip Fitness! The first thing that you need to do is get registered in our system! From the main menu of our website, select “Register” and then click “sign-up” to choose the best plan for you. If you have already purchased classes from Groupon or Class Pass, be sure to select the appropriate pre-paid plan listed. Once you have created your profile, download the Zen Planner member app for iPhone and Android and start signing up for classes! Although not required, we strongly recommend new students attend at least one beginner’s Orientation class offered every Saturday!
Yes! You must reserve a spot in class to participate. Since we have limited availability, we highly recommend reserving your spot through the Zen Planner member app as soon as possible. You have as early as (7) days in advance to reserve a spot in class and up to 3 hours before the start of the class to cancel/reserve.
If the class is full and there is availability on the waitlist, we encourage you to sign-up. If a student cancels their reservation you may have the opportunity to be bumped into the class from the waitlist. You will receive an email confirming your reservation if you have been moved into the class.
Well, it depends on the class. We recommend shorts and tanks for pole. Be sure not to apply any body oils or lotions before class. Leggings, socks and knee pads are highly recommended for group dance classes. Please note we have a limited supply of pads available in the studio that you may borrow on a first come first serve basis. If you are attending a more high-impact class, such as control n’ condition or advanced level pole, tennis shoes are required. To read more about our class descriptions and requirements, please visit our “classes” page from the main menu.
Absolutely! Heels are our favorite gym shoes, but don’t feel obligated to wear them if you aren’t quite ready for the extra height and weight.
Water! Stay hydrated, as you will get a great workout in any class you attend at TGF.
Yes. We have a restroom in studio and lockers available for you to temporaily store your belongings during classes.
Your groupon/pre-paid voucher will be verified in studio when you arrive so be sure to bring a copy of the voucher or be able to bring it up on your phone. We only allow 1 Groupon per person and class vouchers expire within 30 days at the time of registration. You may purchase 1 additional voucher as a gift for a friend.
You may cancel your reservation by logging into Zen Planner or via your Zen Planner member app no later than 3 hours before the start of class. If you are not able to cancel within this timeframe, please call/text us at 214-600-8364 or email us at twistedgripfitness@gmail.com to avoid any late cancellation fees or penalties within 2 hours before the start of class.
Yes. Due to high demand and limited capacity in the studio, we have instituted a “No Show and Late Cancellation Fee” policy that will result in a $10 fee if you cancel your class reservation with less than 2 hours’ notice or do not show up for class. Students who cancel their reservation at least 2 hours in advance will not be charged a fee. Timely cancellation will allow the reservation to be offered to another student on the waitlist. If you are a class pass or Groupon user, failure to cancel your reservation will result in an automatic forfeit of the class.
Please note some of our classes are exclusively offered to 3 or 6 month members only. Please visit the “Classes” page from the main menu to read a brief description/requirements of all classes.
